Supporting Our Troops

Scott Air Force Base heard how the pillowcases are being sponsored to support our troops. The Colonel invited me out to the base to participate in a flight mission.

A flight mission is where the wounded troops are brought in to the base and transfered to other planes to get them in the direction they need to go, to get home. On this day they had a lay over at the hospital and I was able to meet each soldier personally and give them one of the pillowcases.

This was an experience I will never forget. It left me speechless for the rest of the entire day. These soldiers were very greatful to have something that represented hope and comfort.

You can be a part of this experience and provide hope and comfort to our troops also. Know that you can make a difference!

9-11 Freedom Walk - Support Our Troops

Thousands turned out for the 9-11 Freedom Walk to honor our troops.

They all joined together to make the largest human yellow ribbon.

What a moving experience.

Particpants were able to sponsor pillowcases to be sent to the troops.
